Andrew Garman (director)


The director, Andrew Garman, has worked predominantly in the NY theater scene as an actor, appearing on Broadway in Salomé, Off-Broadway in the premiere of Adam Rapp's Trueblinka, for which he won critical acclaim as Smallwood, and in productions of Cymbeline and Hamlet at the Public Theater/Shakespeare in the Park.
His television credits include a guest-starring role on Conviction, and a recent film, Simple Revenge, is currently airing on the Lifetime Channel.

A graduate of Bucknell University, where he won the Phi Beta Kappa Award for creative achievement, Andrew has an MFA in theater from Columbia University and he is a member of The Actor's Studio.

Andrew is currently workshopping Jack Kerouac's recently discovered recently discovered play to premiere in 2007.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Andrew grew up in the small town of Athens where he spent much of his childhood in, on, and around the Susquehanna River.
